- Have you met the Ribbon? If you are upgrading to Office 2010 or 2007 from Microsoft Office 2003 or prior, you will notice that Microsoft has dramatically changed the menu system. Microsoft has replaced the traditional menus and toolbars with the Ribbon so that you can find and use the features you need — and use — a lot easier. Unfortunately, there is a learning curve with the Ribbon, and finding the features you need, may not be as straightforward as it sounds. In fact, in many cases, features have been removed entirely.
To make it easier on our customers, we've consolidated Microsoft's menu tools into a single Excel application that displays a 2003 Menu location with it's corresponding location in the 2007/2010 Ribbon. So now, instead of wondering where in the world (or Ribbon) you add a Header or Footer in 2007/2010, you can just search for "Header" in our application to display the Ribbon location.
Our Menu Mapping Tool is an Excel file that contains "lookup and search capabilities" for menu commands in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The tool comes in two versions:
These tools are only meant for customers who have attended our 2007 or 2010 training courses. If you are not a customer, but would like to use or distribute this please contact us.
