Continuing Professional Education

Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Excel Solutions Team is a registered CPE Sponsor with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Here's what that means for you and your credit.

What is CPE?

CPE is the abbreviation for Continuing Professional Education. Many of our clients are members of professional associations (such as accountants) and are required to pursue industry-relevant learning opportunities in order to maintain their professional competencies or licenses. Continuing education can be attended in many forms, but live educational seminars, like the classes we instruct, are one of the most common forms of approved training for many of these associations.

CPE Registration

Excel Solutions Team is registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE Sponsor. If you are a member of any other organization, you must verify independently to see if our classes qualify as credit. Note: The TXSBOA requires all CPE providers to notify you that the registration does not constitute an endorsement by the Board as to the quality of our CPE program.

CPE Hours and Certificates

Most of our full day classes are 6.5 CPE credit hours, but that can vary based on the class and its actual hours of instruction. For classes held at our location, CPE certificates are typically delivered in-person immediately after the class. For classes held off-site, CPE certificates are typically delivered by mail within 10-14 days after the completion of the seminar.

If you have any questions about CPE or need an extra copy of your certificate, please contact us for more details.
