- The Project Environment: Ribbon Options, View Options, Quick Access Toolbar
- Create and Modify Projects: templates, start and modify project plans
- Start a Project: Calendar, Start/Finish Dates, Priority Levels
- Manage Tasks: Outlining, Recurring Tasks, Dependencies, Constraints, Deadlines, Milestones
- Add and Manage Resources: Resource Calendar, Assignments, Costs, Conflicts
- Finalize the Plan: Critical Path, Shorten Duration, Set a Baseline, Print Reports

- Customize the Environment: Project Views, Gantt Customizations, Custom Fields
- Manage Task Structures: Network Diagram, Critical Path, Lag/Lead Time, Multiple Baselines
- Update with Actuals: Task Progress, Overtime, Split/Reschedule Tasks, Filter Tasks
- Work with Project Tables: View, Create, and Customize Tables
- Manage Project Costs: Cost Rate Tables, Group Costs, Link Documents, Cost Reports

- Advanced Scheduling: Overtime, 24-hour scheduling, Task/Project/Resource Calendars
- Scheduling Uncompleted Work: Reschedule to Status Date, Split Tasks, Work Contours

- Macros: Create Macros for automated tasks and options for running them
- Custom Fields: Text, Number, Date, Formulas, Lookup Tables, Graphical Indicators
